Gathering and Sound — Tayla Byrne Counselling and Somatic Practice

Gatherings and Sound

Workshops, collaborations and music.

A collection of experiences shaped by movement, sound and connection.

Workshops and gatherings have become a way for me to bring together movement, music and the experience of being human. From shared practices to collaborative events, these are spaces to connect, explore and experience something together.

03 / MUSIC

Music has a way of shaping how we feel, and how we feel shapes the music we reach for. I love curating soundscapes that evoke a feeling, shift the atmosphere or give space to something that’s hard to put into words.

From the music woven into gatherings to the playlists I create and return to, this is a space for sharing the sounds that move me.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which I live and work, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation, and pay my respects to Elders past and present. I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and that this always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

I acknowledge the deep and enduring connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have to Country, community, culture, and one another. I am committed to listening, learning, and practising in ways that are grounded in respect, cultural humility, and ongoing reflection.
